Saratoga Sensory is excited to offer summer camps for children of all abilities!
What makes Saratoga Sensory summer camps different? Not only are camps provided in a sensory enriched environment, but they are also run by a master’s level occupational therapist with extensive sensory expertise. Camps will be provided as a small group, limited to 4 children. These camps are open to individuals of all abilities.
Handwriting Camp
This camp is designed to help children gain skills related to handwriting and ensure that skills learned during the school year are maintained during the summer months. Enrollment includes individual Handwriting Without Tears materials, including HWT chalkboard, mini chalk pieces, mini sponge pieces, My First School Book and My First Lowercase Book workbooks.

This group is offered in similar-age sections based on the grade the child will enter, or for kindergarten be eligible to enter, in September 2022. Groups are forming for kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd grade-5th grade, and 6th grade-8th grade.
Sensory Sampler Camp
This camp is designed to provide a sampling of upcoming school year sensory groups, with 2 weeks each of Sensory Chefs, Sensory Artists, and Sensory Scientists. During each sensory-based activity, children will have the opportunity to participate in a manner that meets their individual sensory needs.

Sensory Explorer Camp
This camp is designed to help sensory seekers improve self-regulation and sensory avoiders become more comfortable with a variety of sensory inputs. Each week, children will participate in sensory-based play that becomes gradually more challenging. Activities will be modified to meet the needs of each individual child.

This group is open in two age sections, one for children who will be eligible to attend Kindergarten-2nd grade and one for children entering 3rd-5th grade in September 2022.
Each camp will be held on Tuesday afternoons for 1 hour over 6 weeks, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, and 8/16, at a cost of $240 per camp. Payment in full is due at the time of registration and will only be refunded if the camp does not meet enrollment requirements. The last day to register for summer camps is Friday, 5/27/22.
