Evaluation

Before treatment can begin, an evaluation must be performed. Sensory evaluations vary dramatically between providers. Evaluations at Saratoga Sensory are strongly focused on how a child’s sensory processing differences impact them and their family on a daily basis. As a result, sensory-focused occupational therapy evaluations from other providers may not contain the information necessary to determine the best focus for therapy and allow for development of child and family-centered goals.
